The curtains are made with iridescent purple plastic beads in the "bubble" shape, shown above. Our beaded curtains are not chintsy on the beads, either. You don't need more than one curtain for a doorway, unless the doorway is wider than 36". The bead curtains are 36" across and 72" long. The length can be trimmed to fit the space, if you need something shorter. If your door is narrower than 36", don't worry! The curtains are hung above the door frame, so you could have a 26" wide door and they would still look great! Each beaded curtain has whopping 34 strands of iridescent purple plastic beads. That is just about one strand every inch! We have seen curtains in this price range with only 15 strands in the same amount of space.
