Chien Tung Fortune Telling Sticks From China Chinese Fortune Telling Oracle ~ I Ching Like Divination Well, to borrow from another, this is way better than any magic 8 ball fortune teller! To use the fortune telling sticks, think of a question, or if you just want a general reading, just shake the container, until one stick falls out, it is that easy! Look the number up, in the booklet provided, to recieve your fortune from the sticks! For instance, the fortune stick marked "3" falls to the table. Look up the passage and you will find: "YOUR LUCK FOR TODAY- The fates have given you number three, and its only fair for thine and thee. YOUR FORTUNE- Your future fortune, surely good, for maid, man, or wife, with riches and the great respect of people high in life. Expect soon a letter bringing important news. Later on you may get your wish. " Click here, for another way to use the Chinese Fortune sticks! |

Chinese Fortune Sticks Chien Tung Bamboo Sticks Chinese Fortune Telling Tools ~ Chinese Oracles The Chinese Fortune Sticks set comes with 78 sticks, and a 28 page divination booklet,
with a little history of the fortune sticks and their long use in China.
The bamboo container measures about 8" tall, black on the bottom and red on the top. The bottom has Chinese style decor on it. The top is solid red. The top may fit tightly or loosely on the base, and the set comes sealed, but unpackaged. The bamboo fortune sticks measure about 6" long. Each bamboo fortune stick has a red top, the number for the stick, and some Chinese characters, below the number. Please note: It is possible that you may receive a set that with more than 78 sticks, or where you may be missing a stick. This is to be expected, occasionally. We advise counting the sticks and removing any extras. If the set is short, we advise adding the missing number to the backside of one of the other sticks. This should not affect your ability to use the sticks in any way. Simply use the first number that you see. We are sure these would make fine gifts for anybody interested in divination. It is an EASY form of divination that can be understood by virtually anyone who is old enough to read. PSY-OBCFS Set Of Chinese Fortune Sticks $14.95 set |

Known in China, as Chien Tung, these 78 Chinese fortune telling sticks have been
in use in China, for hundreds of years. In the manual, it states: The Chinese perform this very personal method not as a "fortune-telling game" for self amusement, but as a naturally based, historically practiced, and religious art in their temples. |

I like to take all the sticks and dump them out on a spread cloth. Then, I mix them up, with eyes closed, while thinking of my question. When I feel I have mixed them up, enough, I simply pick one Chinese Fortune Stick and read the booklet! I enjoy this more than the shake the container method and it seems to work just fine. Your mileage may vary. :) |
