boat style ashcatchers, made just for incense sticks. These brazilian incense
burners are made of a hollowed out reed (looks like bamboo), and are decorated
with molded clay characters, real gemstones, and quartz crystal points. We think
these are very cool and will probably go out, just as quickly as we can get them

All are made of wood, with clay characters and gemstones. Some even have quartz crystal points, at the end. Styles of Brazilian ashcatchers available are: #C-Gnome Incense Burner- The word gnome comes from the Greek word "gnosis" meaning knowledge. This was applied to them because it was said that they knew the exact location of precious metals. They are usually said to appear grouchy and not very sociable. They live underground and guard the earth's treasures. Hard-working and usually depicted as being old, they can dissolve into the trunks of trees to hide from humans. Gnomes are one of the elementals associated with Earth. Our Gnome incense burner-He sits holding your incense stick in his hands. There is a quartz crystal point at the other end of the incense burner, with 2 gemstones in between, along the sides. #I-Unicorn Incense Burner-The Legendary Unicorn-In Europe, the symbol of purity, chastity, and good. In the Orient: The Unicorn is called the The ch'i-lin (the ch'i part for male, the lin part for female). the Unicorn was the king of land animals and as such symbolized strength and wisdom. There were stories of how this creature could run as fast as the speed of light or walk on grass without crushing it. Unicorns were believed to have the ability to see into the hearts of men and know the guilty, and though the ch'i-lin was compassionate and loved peace, it would use its horn to slice a guilty man to pieces.
