Heart Votive Hammered Glass Candleholder Hammered Heart Tea Light Candle Holder Even though these were listed as votive candle holders in our supplier's catalog, they are on the small side and we feel they would be much better tea light holders!   Each heart candle holder is made of "hand hammered" design glass, with a heart shape on each side.  These tealight holders are not HAND made, but are made in the USA. The candle light will illuminate the hammered texture of the glass, giving a rather unique and cosy candle glow.These are perfect for country style rooms, intimate dinners, bathrooms, or for meditation on matters of the heart. These hammered heart tea lite holders will hold smaller votive candles, but we found that our Mole Hollow Votives had a slightly larger outer top edge that got a little "mushed", as we pushed it in.  If this is not an issue for you, our votive candles will work, just as  well as tea lights! This heart candle holder is fairly sturdy and should hold up under regular use. The interior of the tea light holder is  1 7/8" across, and 2  3/8" deep. The exterior of the tea light holders are about 2 1/16" across, and 2 5/8" tall. As I said earlier, these will hold smaller votive candles, but using our Mole Hollow Votives, we had to push the votive into the holder, because the top edge of the votive candle was just a little too big. We can recommend the use of this heart candle holder with any tea lites, that are less than 1 7/8" accross. Our standard tea lights measure 1 1/2" across, so there is plenty of room in these lovely candle holders.
