Pagan Calendars ~ Magical Timing 2004 Witches' Calendar From Llewellyn Whether you're planning a ritual, sabbat feast, or a birthday party, Llewellyn's Witches' Calendar 2004 has all the information you need to make every day magical: Wiccan holidays & Traditional holidays Magical color correspondences The best days to plant and harvest The Moon's sign and phase, including times of change and the void-of-course Moon Planetary motion, including retrogrades Solar and lunar eclipses This year's calendar is packed with practical tips, invocations, folklore, herb lore, and original scratchboard art by Kathleen Edwards. Articles written by popular Pagan authors including Gail Wood, Kristin Madden, Richard Webster, Oberon Zell-Ravenheart, Lynne Sturtevant, and Ellen Dugan give you the ideas and tools you need to weave a Witches'' web of magic all year long. My personal thoughts?...and this is the calendar I use, even though I don't consider myself "Wiccan" :) I love this calendar! I love the artwork, it is very earthy and soothing. The astrological information is great for planning, showing the planetary retrogrades, signs, phases, and void of course times for the moon (worth the price, alone, when you use it). It is also a very handy calendar for the gardener, with moon phase information, also showing the best days for harvest and best days for planting. If you are into magic spells and ritual, the astrological information in this calendar will be quite helpful, and each day shows a different color associated with it, as well. The traditional Wiccan holidays are shown, as well as feast days, the moons (corn), and more. There is also a ton of really interesting pagan historical information on the different days of the month, with birthdays of interest, famous witchcraft trials, etc. Of course, all the non-Pagan holidays are included, too, like Mother's Day & Christmas. There are also really cool articles at the back of the calendar. I always learn lots of new and interesting things about magic, metaphysics, and Pagan traditons! If you are really interested in astrology, be sure to check out the Astrological Calendar. It has similar astrology information with more emphasis on each of the planets, aspects, horoscopes, and more. The 2004 Witches' Calendar measures 13" wide x 10" tall. It has a hole at the top, for hanging your calendar on the wall, too. AN-04WCAL 2004 Witches Calendar $12.95 each |
