Inner Healing: Chakra Meditations Part 2
FYI: These chakra meditations will help to balance your energy centers. If you are not familiar with the chakra system, you can read more about them, here.
The Base (or root, or first) chakra is about where the tailbone is. It is red in color.
The Sacral (or second) chakra is about 2 inches below the naval. It is orange in color.
The Solar Plexus (or third) chakra is a few inches above the naval, just below where the ribcage meets. Some people call this 'the bread basket'. It is yellow in color.
The Heart (or fourth) chakra is at the heart. It is green in color.
The Throat (or fifth) chakra is, you guessed it, at the throat. It is light blue in color.
The Third Eye (or sixth) chakra is just a little above the eyes and centered between them. It is indigo blue in color.
The Crown (or seventh) chakra is just where you would put a crown if you had one. It is purple in color.
The Thymus (or eighth) chakra is midway between your throat and your heart, just below where your colar bones meet. It is sometimes called the higher heart. Colors associated with it vary between blue-green and pink.

Lie down and allow yourself to relax . . . . . . . .
Take yourself to beautiful clean beach with soft warm white sand. With the sun shining a bright yellow that spreads warmth all over your entire body filling it with life creating energy. See the ocean radiating a vibrant blue, green colour. Hear the waves gently crashing to the shore. Allow a gentle breeze to move through you, cleansing and clearing away any negative thoughts or feelings. Imagine birds flying above you, free and filled with a carefree existence. See the Dolphins swimming in the distance. Not a care, not a worry.

Meditation For The Sacral Chakra +
Lie yourself down and allow yourself to relax .
Let us visualise that we are high on a mountain top.
This mountain is special because she is a volcano.
She is strong and vibrant as she pulsates with the passion of mother earth.
She is alive and filled with the life force of creation. When she releases her tension from her bowls she sends out fire, ash and lava that covers the earth top, making it fertile and full of healthy vitamins that nourish our earth. . . All around are steam, smoke and condensation from the fires that burn below. These effects create a cleansing and purifying result for the surface of our planet.
To the distance there are pools of water. Smoke is rising from them, as they bubble with the heat that comes from the mountain .
When you enter into these pools, your body becomes clean and pure from all negativity.
You can feel the warmth but you know that you are safe and well . .

Meditation For The Solar (Plexus) Chakra +
Lie yourself down and allow yourself to relax .
Today we are going to venture to large mountain top This mountain is the highest mountain in the whole wide world. The trees are as high as large buildings and there are wild plants and animals all around. We are going to stand on the top of this mountain . . . . . . There is a large powerful eagle that sits up high on a tree. . We are going to merge with that eagle and become one with him As he takes off in flight we will take off with him and soar through the skies without any care, fear or worry. We will open our personal will and strength and unite it with the eagle's. As the eagle flies higher towards the sun we will imagine that the rays of yellow light that come from the sun will enter into our bodies and heal us with its power and wisdom.

Meditation For The Heart Chakra +
Lie yourself down and allow yourself to relax .
The secret of true love lies in the way that we look at ourselves and our environment. When we can look at a beautiful blue sky on a clear day and feel this warmth and energy pore into our hearts and swell up inside of us making us feel energised and alive, then we truly know the meaning of love. When we feel a sense of warmth and we are able to reach out and show our affection to all living beings then we will know true love, and when we do we do only then can we truly heal ourselves and our world.
Today let us enter into a beautiful rain forest that is filled with the healing green of mother nature. Lets us walk amongst the plants and animals and let us look up to the skies and try and capture that feeling as we meditate on our hearts and bring healing into our lives.

Meditation For The Throat Chakra +
Lie yourself down and allow yourself to relax . Being able to talk to your fellow man is not enough. True expression comes when you can communicate with all of nature. Her plants and her animals as well.
Today we will visualise that we are on a boat in the middle of the ocean. I want you to allow yourself to feel the motions of the boat rocking back and forth. The sun is warm and it cleanses your body and makes you fell energised and relaxed. immersed yourself in this experience.
High in the sky there are seagulls drifting and floating over the sky. They squawk to one another as they pass be each other. Listen to what they say. Open up your throat chakra and allow yourself to communicate with nature.
All around us are dolphins and whales swimming and playing about in the water. As you lay on the boat, open yourself to their language allow yourself to connect to these wonderful beings. Feel yourself become immersed into the water and become one with the whales and the dolphins. Communicate on their level

I want you to allow you imagination to have full rein while you are in this cave. Allow any pictures, thoughts and feelings come in and fade out again. See into your past and open your senses of awareness. See if they are any fairy tales that reside within this cave or any fictional characters. See how these fairy tales represent you and your life in some way. Allow yourself to think whatever thoughts come through.

Today we will imagine that we are floating out in space. All around us are stars, planets, the moon and the sun. As we look down we see the earth below. We will visualise that we are flying around the earth orbiting and sending out healing energy to her. I want you to visualise that you are just pure energy. You are perfect and you are free. Allow all the colours vibrating around you and sending out healing and love towards you.
Imagine that the moon, starts and the sun are alive and communicating with you. See past our universe and fly towards other universes. Allow yourself to see other beings and try and communicate with them as well. You are on a spiritual journey. Allow yourself to just float around free and full of life.
