Aromatherapy has been in use for thousands of years. It is generally acknowledged that aromatherapy began long ago in ancient Egypt, although some authors claim that the aboriginal people of Australia were using plant oils over 40,000 years ago for medicinal purposes.

According to one online dictionary, Aromatherapy is the use of selected fragrant substances in lotions and inhalants in an effort to affect mood and promote health.
What does this mean to you? Basically, aromatherapy is using scent to change the way you feel, physically and/or psychologically. Aromatherapy can cheer you up when you are sad, or relax your body and mind after a hard day...
